PODESTA AND DNC HACK A USA JOB? PERHAPS---ACCORDING TO RECENT WIKILEAKS

WIKILEAKS: CIA HACKS HIDE CIA AND LEAVE RUSSIAN FINGERPRINTS

Today's Daily Mail, (UK) March 30, 2017 published the latest Wikileaks release on the CIA. They are claimed to be the largest ever. The dat documents how that agency has a computer code which can hide its own identity, after it hacks into a target's iPhone or computer. Significantly, for those in the recent "Russian" frenzy, the system is designed to leave behind a false flag "fingerprint" which points to Chinese, Russian or Iranian hackers. This is big news for the USA media and propagandists who have been on a "Russian Feeding Frenzy" since the election. We are all literally tired of hearing how the "Russian did it". The repetition itself seems suspicious...like some kind of an elaborate sales promotion. Then again, the Congress, the media and the nation at large have been reassured over and over again by our CIA and " intelligence experts" that it was the "Russians" who hacked into the DNC, and other US targets during the 2016 campaign. Now with this Wikileaks release those conclusions come into serious question.

Earlier this month Julian Assange, still precariously ensconced in a tiny room in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where he took refuge from the USA, published thousands of documents which revealed top CIA hacking secrets. Those sources purport to document how the CIA is able to get into virtually anyone's smart phone or computer as well as bypass powerful encryption applications that are generally thought to protect private conversation and essential proprietary knowledge as well as legitimate businesses secrets from prying eyes.

Today's releases comprise "676 CIA source code files" according to the Daily Mail. The Mail claims that the codes show that the CIA can disguise its own hacking attacks to make it appear that the perpetrators were not CIA, but Russian, Chinese, North Korean, or Iranians. Assange claims (again according to the Daily Mail) that the CIA went to"great lengths" to disguise its own hacking efforts and "point the finger" at Russia, China North Korea and Iran. It's clear whom they see as opponents.

Don't expect anyone in the Washington establishment to agree with the assessment that the DNC and Podesta hacks were more likely "inside jobs" rather than Russian ops. But the circumstantial evidence is strong. It has been reported commonly and elsewhere that the vast majority of professional "spooks" simply did not like Clinton---and were happy to see her fall by the wayside. But with that threat nullified, they may not have been very pleased with the Trumpites either. The entire existence of the "intelligence community" depends on fear of a sinister enemy and vast expenditure of "defense money". Mr. Trump's sensible "opening to Russian" and emphasis on building American infrastructure was probably seen as an existential threat to these elements of the deep state. And finally, candidate Trump did not follow the "rules" (if he knew them) and since then has not been an acquiescent or compliant "intelligence doting" head of state or obvious friend of the "intelligence community".

The Washington DC elites and "deep state" are all enmeshed in the system. To the McCains and "Pancho Sanza" Grahams of this world who make a living creating mortal enemies for the USA to spend blood and money on...fear of Russia (or some other mortal enemy) is essential. They are uneasy now that Mosul the so-called heart of "caliphate" is collapsing and ISIS may soon no longer be considered a "real threat". A new enemy is needed...Russia, North Korea, Iran, and China are all up in the shooting gallery. Pick your target.

I-85 BRIDGE COLLAPSES--MCCAIN STIRS UP WAR IN SYRIA

THE REALITY OF THE STATE OF AFFAIRS AT HOME COMES TO HAUNT US WITH IMAGES OF A BURNING BRIDGE ON I-85 AND MILES AND MILES OF BACKED UP TRAFFIC

LET'S FACE THE FACTS--WE NEED TO GET OUR OWN HOUSE IN ORDER1

OUR INFRASTRUCTURE IS COLLAPSING AROUND OUR NECKS YET SOME IN GOVERNMENT LOBBY TO EXPAND MILITARY ADVENTURISM ABROAD
A BAD IDEA

This morning's news was startling. A major bridge collapses on a key highway (Interstate Route I-85) which runs north south though the nation's southern corridor. The interstate system was touted as part of our internal defense system. President Eisenhower realized how important major highways were to defense as Supreme Allied Commander in Europe in WWII. The collapse of a bridge like this is a threat to our national defense. I85 carries untold amounts of goods and services and provides access for thousands upon thousands of commuters to Atlanta --one of our major southern cities.is no more...It burned down and collapsed. The cause of the fire? Flamable materials such as cables and other supplies were stored beneath the bridge --an overpass). However this happened, carelessness, failure of timely maintenance, inadequate funding...it is symptomatic of the nation as a whole. We spend too much money offshore, and not enough here at home.

Some would foolishly have us waste blood and gold abroad and ignore our own nation's needs. It is ironic that these "war hawks" so eager to expand our footprint abroad---threaten our defensive posture at home.

SENATOR UDALL CORRECT--KEEP US TROOPS OUT OF SYRIA

MARCH 30, 201

MR TRUMP HAS RAISED THE SPECTER OR A FULL BLOWN WAR IN SYRIA

THIS IS A GRAVE MISTAKE

Mr. Trump's fragile early weeks in the Oval Office have been fraught. He faces many problems domestically. We have a twenty trillion dollar national debt..as he so often reminded us. We are a debtor nation. We have a porous border, And a wall to build. We have ten to twelve million illegal immigrant wandering the land. Going and coming across our southern border at will. The nation is divided on many issues. We need that wall. We need jobs. We need a revised health care system. We need an immigration control plan. The debt, the immigration problem, taxes, jobs, and the chaos in Washington left over form the divisive election and surprising results...which has left the opposition party in great turmoil are exitential roblems which need the nation's full attention.

Now is no time to expand a "no win" war in Syria. Mr. Trump should reexamine his own campaign speeches in which he promised to take down IsiS...but with no further troop deployments there. IsiS is a local police problem now. We simply can not afford to fritter our time, money and energies away on non-essential phony threats...which John McCain and his war mongering war profiteers want to sustain.

We can not afford to waste money, materiel, and the lives and limbs of our young men men women in a lost cause in Syria. Leave it to the Russians.

Senator UDALL recently called for the Congress to either declare war in Syria or get out. He is correct.

DEM HYPOCRICY: FEEDING FRENZY ON RUSSIAN ELECTION , IGNORE OBAMA "SPYING"

HYPOCRISY OF DEMS..IGNORE POLITICAL "SPYING" WHILE THEY DECRY NO-EVIDENCE "RUSSIAN MEDDLING' IN ELECTION.

WDEMS IGNORING SERIOUS THEATS TO OUR PRIVACY, 4TH AMENDMENT RIGHTS AND THE POLITICIZATION OF INTELLIGENCE GATHERING BY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION

THE MASSIVE SPY AGENCIES WE HAVE SPAWNED SINCE 9-11 DO NOT COOPERATE WITH TRUMP. FEARFUL OF REVEALING THEIR WIDE-RANGING ABILITY TO SPY ON OUR OWN CITIZENS.

AND MEDIA AND DEEP STATE COLLUDE TO DELEGITIMIZE OUR NEW PRESIDENT

There seems to be two "Washingtons" out there along the Maryland and Virginia border. Each one has its own reality. The rest of the nation, far removed from the "495 Ring Road", looks on with trepidation and disbelief, fearful of where all this self-destructive behavior is going to take us.

Each of these "Washingtons" has its own reality tale. Out here in the hinterlands, information seeps around our ankles rather than drowns us so perhaps we have a better sense of what's actually going on. But it is not reassuring or pretty.

One Washington is hyperbolically, insanely, hysterically obsessed with the Russians and the supposed influence a nation (with less than half of our population, only a fraction of our GDP and which spends one-tenth of our military/defense budget) on our 2016 election. The Democrats have taken to this "tale" like a cult religion. They and the media outlets which support them like paid partners find Trump-team "collusion with the Russians" around every corner and in every corridor.

Out here in the hinterlands we see DC more clearly. First, for most of us who have no political axe to grind, we find no evidence the Russians used untoward influence on our ELECTION OR ELECTION PROCESS. During the recent national campaign, they, like many other nations around the world, may have favored one candidate over the other. (President Obama openly approved not Mr. Netanyahu, but his opponent in the recent Israeli elections, even going to the extent of (illegally?) providing funds to the opposition candidate.) Here at home in 2016, the Russians , via Wikileaks, MAY HAVE (but there is no proof) helped to expose some of the Democrat foibles--like passing off debate questions to their candidate-- and the perfidy, deceptions and weaknesses of the Democrat candidate. But Mrs. Clinton was a well known quantity long before the election and any Russian expose', if there was one, exercised no control or impact on any citizen's actual vote. The fact is that Clinton until the very end of the campaign was poised to win. Overconfident of this, she took for granted an element of her coalition which in the very end abandoned her for Donald Trump. There was no possible Russian involvement in the dramatic and last minute loss of those northern "blue wall" states which turned the election to Mr. Trump. All of this is well established. The Democrats and the left-leaning media's attempt to rewrite history and delegitimize the nation's election process is shameful. It is a dangerous political fiction woven out of shock, shame and disbelief associated with a massive electoral defeat and watershed loss of political power.

So that is one of Washington's tales. The other "tale" has more evidence to support it and is a clear and present danger to our future and our well-being if we ignore it.

President Trump made the now infamous claims that he was being "spied" on by the former President. (He should know-- if he was...). For making this claim he was viciously pilloried in the press, on TV and over the airwaves. .His account now seems to be true. Recently the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Mr. Devin Nunes has revealed evidence that Mr. Trump and his transition team were "spied on" during the interregnum between the election and the inauguration. That is: Mr. Obama was using the US foreign intelligence system to conduct domestic surveillance of the Trump campaign. That is a serious breach of US laws and must be investigated, and the perpetrators punished.

According to Chairman Nunes the "spying" was accomplished "legally". This implies that Obama (or his surrogates) must have used our vast arsenal of foreign and domestic "listening networks" to scour up Trump associates' contacts and listen in to their conversations. The government "spooks" could then claim they were "targeting" foreigners but their actual targets were Mr. Trump and his team. This was accomplished without necessary FISA court warrants issued and would leave no "fingerprints" or trails. Now that is serious. First it is a violation of the Forth Amendment rights of those US citizens who were "surveilled" and it is an indictment of the Obama Administration which appears to have stooped to the corruption levels of ancient Rome or Byzantium in its zeal to undermine the incoming Trump Administration and overturn or smear the manifested will of the people as expressed in a legitimate election. In addition, the illegally scoured up information was widely dispersed (as per Mr. Obama's" last days" executive order) with the express intention of it being leaked to the press. That plan was completed in the case of the reputation assasination of Lt. General Mike Flynn.

If Mr. Obama and the Democrats are displeased with the election outcome they should look to their party procedures for vetting a candidate--perhaps a more electable candidate--or review of their political strategy of ignoring the working class voters. The. Again they can also patiently wait until 2020 for their next try. But efforts to undermine the 2016 election results bordersn ing on treason.

Finally--the so called "intelligence community" is in lockstep in their public denials of Mr. Trump's claim of illegal spying. Why are the government "spooks", the vast "intelligence" community unwilling or unable to tell the truth regarding this issue? Why do we get the distinct impression they are lying to us? The suspected reason: if they support Mr. Trump's account of "illegal surveillance" that opens Pandora's spy box. It exposes the intelligence agencies as being able (and willing) to gather in information world wide---including illegally gathered data on American citizens. No one's Forth Amendment rights are secure. We can all be spied on even the President elect. That is a very serious breach of trust and existing laws that they would not like to reveal. So we can not expect them to reveal that Mr. Trump was spied on,

The problem we face is that the Democrats are in a "Russian Feeding Frenzy" and are unable or unwilling to honestly investigate a serious breach of US laws by the past administration. Of the two "tales" of Washington DC in 2017...one Russian Meddling is pure political theater...the other an existential threat to our democracy. The only relationship to Russia we see in these two tales is that no democracy can survive a "police state surveillance system" like the one in Russia.

TRUMP VINDICATED ON "WIRETAPPING" CHARGE

FOURTH AMENDMENT: RIGHT TO " PRIVACY" AND AGAINST UNREASONABLE SEARCHES AND SEIZURES.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, SHALL NOT BE VIOLATED, and no warrants shall issue but on probable cause."

Spring has arrived father south, with the "dirty snow" season but the snow pack up here in the Greens remains clean and white and deep enough so that one still needs their bear paw snow shoes when they head out into the woods. The air is still icy cold and clear from the summit of Stratton. So the hysterics and "doings" far south in DC don't have the same direct impact they might further south. But the distance and the cold air gives one a "Green Mountain" perspective that eliminates the static and permits the hard facts to stand up in relief like these hard rock mountains.

Did President Obama (or some in his Administration) "spy" on the Trump transition team and Mr. Trump after the election and prior to the inauguration? For those of us far away from the hoopla it sure does seem like he did. Was the President elect's Fourth Amendment Rights violated? Was he spied on? You betcha! Was it just "incidental" information collected "legally" as our intelligence services legitimately listen in on foreigners, or was the Trump transition team "purposefully targeted"--we do not know yet. But our massive intelligence capability today makes it possible for the US to "target" Americans (in violation of the Constitution) when they want to. All of the carefully parsed statements and blank face denials by our top spies at Congressional hearings stating that Trump "was not wiretapped" suggests, not that they did not do it, but that they are very hesitant to reveal that they CAN DO IT.

The latest information coming out of the Congressional Intelligence Committee by its Chairman Nunez, seems to underscore the fact that Mr. Trump and his associates were "surveilled", for political purposes--as the President charged in a now infamous "tweet". Nunez' revelation may not be the formal "wiretapping" as the President claimed and it might not have happened in the Trump Tower....but for most of us it means the same thing---the violation of a citizen's right to privacy---a Fourth Amendment violation---a very serious offense indeed.

That offense against Constitutional Rights was then compounded by another crime--against US laws which prohibit the identities of individuals whose identities were revealed by "legal" and "incidental" eavesdropping to be published. These violated individuals were then "unmasked" and their identities and conversations were permitted to be leaked to the media. A third violation that may have been committed is the violation of the sacred premise that "the power of governing lies with the governed". That is the power of the electorate to express their will and pass on the power to govern through a legitimate election. The People have spoken in 2016. They elected Donald J. Trump. By attempting to frustrate the will of the People the Obama Administration may have unwittingly set in motion powers that can undermined the basis of our entire system of democratic election.

THE OUTGOING PRESIDENT (HIS ADMINISTRATION) "SPIED ON" THE NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT AND HIS TRANSITION TEAM AS THEY PREPARED TO TAKE OFFICE, THEN PERMITTED THE NAMES AND IDENTITIES OF THESE "TAPPED" INDIVIDUALS TO BE WIDELY DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE LAME DUCK GOVERNMENT. THEN THAT INFORMATION WAS PURPOSELY LEAKED TO THE PRESS.

LET'S BE CLEAR. AFTER THE ELECTION, THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN. THE POWER TO GOVERN HAS LEGITIMATELY PASSED TO THE NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT. BY ATTEMPTING TO UNDERMINE OR DELEGITIMIZE THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE, THE PAST PRESIDENT (OR HIS AGENTS )IS UNDERMINING OUR SYSTEM AND OUR CONSTITUTION.

Why is that so significant and why should we be so concerned? one because it violates our Fourth Amendment rights. It violates US legislation which bans revealing names of individuals caught up in foreign spying. And because it abrogates the rights of the electorate...the People from whom the power to govern is derived, That power does not reside in the bureaucracy or the individuals of the out going regime. That must be very difficult for them to grasp. Having so much power then having none....in the flash of an eye. In the 2016 election the people's choice was made clear...they elected Mr Trump legitimately. Mr. Trump was prior to the inauguration and afterward the People's choice. The ex-President and his entourage had no right to SURVEIL, SPY, LISTEN IN, etc, etc,.or with the intention to undermine or attempt to delegitimize the People's choice. Yet that was his or his advocate's intention. Those that did this should be exposed and punished.

MCCAIN BREAKS RULE 19--UNHINGED?

JOHN MCCAIN BREAKS SENATE RULE 19--NOTHING HAPPENS

Senator McCain broke Rule19 of the US Senate yesterday (March 2017) but no one seems to care. McCain, has passed the four-score mark and is showing signs of wear and tear, and old-age irritability. He spent more than five very tough years in a Hanoi prison during the Vietnam War---that must have taken a great toll on his body. Then those long boring years listening to dull speeches in the Senate, and his dramatic loss of the Presidential election all have taken their toll elsewhere. As a young man, the son of an illustrious and powerful US Admiral, McCain seems tohave led a privileged life on the Naval bases where he was raised. Perhaps his status in that closed society fostered some bad habits. Whether ignoring preflight fueling recommendations and then having to ditch his trainer plane in the Gulf of Mexico , or disobeying orders and flying into a cloud of flack over Hanoi to get shot down....McCain seems to have been able to break rules and then been excused for these infractions.

BUT THAT WAS ONLY A SIDESHOW. THE REAL STORY IS WHY MCCAIN WAS ANGRY

MCCAIN WANTS TO START A WAR AND MONTENEGRO IS PART OF THE PLAN

The Arizona war hawk's ire was raised to a fever pitch when Senator Rand Paul objected to a call by Mc Cain (and two others) for a unanimous "yea" vote to support the advancement of the tiny Balkan nation of Montenegro to NATO membership. Rand Paul wisely objected and cast a "nay" vote preventing the proposal's passage. McCain's voice was said to quaver in uncontrolled anger when he addressed the Senate as he attacked Paul--who had left the Chamber after the vote. For the second time he claimed that Paul was "working for Putin". What caused Mc Cain's gorge to rise to almost choke him? It was the frustration of the Arizona Senator's long-held and persistent desire to send the young men and women of this nation to fight and die in another of McCain's perpetual wars. That war goal was at least temporarily compromised and stymied by Senator Paul whom the old Senator turned on and attacked viciously. He will fight viciously to send others to fight and die.

WHY RAND PAUL IS RIGHT AND MCCAIN WRONG

Simply stated: In spite of what old war hawks like McCain claim, we can not afford to take on Montenegro. The continued expansion of NATO is fool's goal. Who would do the fighting for Montenegro? The Swedish? The Germans? The Italians? All of whom owe money to NATO. No! The vast majority of responsibility falls on the shoulders of the American troops and their folks at home. The Americans shoulder the majority of the burden and we can not afford it anymore.

Our nation with its $19 trillion debt can not afford to adequately defend itself AND provide adequate medical care, repair its crumbling infrastructure, provide a meaningful safety net for its infirm and indigent. How can we extend military protection to insignificant Montenegro when we can not afford to take care of our own. The recent budget in which Mr. Trump has proposed drastic cutbacks to domestic programs in an attempt to trim the deficit and cut the debt should be reviewed by Mr McCain and the other war hawks. How can we ask our own citizenry to sacrifice in face of our financial situation and then place ourselves in jeopardy abroad by offering to extend our NATO protection to tiny Montenegro (which sent a complement of some 40 troops to the NATO command). What do we get for our offer of protection? We are offering NATO inclusion to a small nation with less than half a million inhabitants, about the size of Delaware, situated in an area of the world plagued by instability and with a population that is largely pro-Russian and decidedly uncertain of its desire to enter NATO. This is not a good deal! I expect our President to veto the idea.

If we are so ready to ask our own citizenry to sacrifice their well being...as per the sharp cutbacks in the proposed Trump budget...how can we afford to be so openhanded with a policy of military expansion which places our troops in potential harms way in the Balkans with nothing to gain and much to loose.

As for the politically unstable, weakened Democrats who support this foolish NATO proposal with McCain...they are only poking a finger into the eye of Mr. Trump, foolishly attempting to bait him for his "admiration" of Mr. Putin. They are willing to hurt their own citizens, weaken their military and undermine their stated principles only to embarrass or delegitimize their own, legitimately elected President.

WIRETAPPING TRUMP--NEW REVELATIONS

O"Reilly Factor (March 16, 2017) reports, according to Congressional sources, that there is "no evidence" of any FISA request by the Obama Administration to "wiretap" President or candidate Trump. But the President and his media spokesperson both inisist that the Presdiednt as a candidate, or elected President prior to inauguration was placed under surveillance by the Obamians. The media insist that the President "has no evidence" and imply that this is just a Trump lie. But what is the truth?

I previously wrote about Mr. Obama's suspicious change of exective directive surrrounding surveillance data. In the last days of his presidency he altered protocols to permit the identity of US citizens "inadvertently" intercepted while conducting foreign surveillance. The change permitted the identity of these Americans to be dispersed widely to all the security agencies before any controls were placed on the actual identity of the hapless victims of the tapping incident. Obama's action permitted the wide circulation of this secret information throughout the government agencies and increased the potential that the identity and personal business of the US citizen would be compromised. That is only circumstantial evidence of Mr. Obama's culpability. But ther is more.

But recently new evidence has bubbled up into the light of day from the murky depths. An interview with former Congressman Dennis Kusinich (D- OH) has added fuel to the Trump allegation against Mr. Obama's Administration. According to Mr. Kucinich, while he was a Congressman his telephone was tapped and his conversations with a Libyan activist---Mr. Ghadaffi--the son the the former dictator, was, unknown to the Congessman, recorded. Two years later, after Mr. Kusinich had retired from Congress he learned of the tapping and was able to get a redacted copy of his own conversations with Ghadaffi. (Congressman Kusinich explained that at the time he was opposed to the Libya intervention policy advanced by Mr. Obama. Kucinich had State Department clearance to discuss the issues between the US and the Ghadiffi regime. But the Obama Administration felt the and advancement of its agggessive and in the end disastrous Libya policy took presecendec eover the Constitutional rights to privacy of a US citizen and Congressman. In this case there was no FISA court decision necessary. Mr. Ghadiffi's telephone was being tapped...Mr. Kucinich was swept up in the surveillance. His name and his conversations should have been protected....but it wasn't. Now one could opine that if Mr. Obama was willing to compromise the Constitutional protections of a sitting Congressman to protect a not-so- earth shattering foreign policy position in far off Libya, to what lengths might a President go to undermine the potential threat of the candidacy of a Mr. Trump who, if elected, would pose an existential theat to his legacy, his legitimacy, and all he accomplished over his eight years? What do you think?

Apparently one way to get information on an American citizen without having to go through the FISA process is to simply tap the phones of all those who the American "target" might communicate with. By the surveillance agency casting a huge net of the target's potential contacts there is high probability they will intercept the American target's calls, without leaving a trail of court orders or other evidences. The process permits complete deniability.
f
Another possible way to achieve the same goal would be to involve the intelligence agency of a close ally, such as the United Kingdom, which has access to our own secret files The President could "request" MI5 or MI6 to tap the telephones of a US citizen based on his concerns, for example, of the "Russian connection". This source of information would again leave no trail, no "fingerprints", no FISA court, and no one in the American intelligence community would have "information or evidence of telephone tapping". The present situation seems to support this last hypothesis. Of course the Brits would deny it, call it "ridiculous" and claim it never happened. They are professional spies! What would you expect them to say?

So the fact that no one in the government claims to know or have any evidence about this incident of illegal surveillance does not mean that it did not happen.

TRUMP SPEAK--"WIRETAPPING"---UNDERSTOOD BY THE MASSES

Regarding the accusation in a tweet by President Trump that "Obama tapped phones" at Trump Tower.

However imprecisely President Trump described what he perceived to be "wire tapping" or "evidence gathering" or "surveillance" initiated by the Obama Administration at Trump Tower---- it seems clear that it did happen.

Lt. General Flynn was fired as a result of leaked information from "routine wiretapping". There are many reports by highly credible news sources of the existence of FISA warrants issued to investigate the "Russian hacking" scandal in which Trump associates figure prominently as private citizens. So we can be confident that at the time there were many "fishing expeditions" out there. Government snooping, surveillance or "evidence gathering"-did take place on Mr. Obama's watch. It is apparent that the new President and his close aids WERE targeted.

Significantly, we now know that in the final days of his administration former President Obama felt the desperate need to expand the power of the NSA to share raw data it intercepted (and which might have included personal information on US citizens) with the 16 other intelligence agencies. The new protocol permitted dissemination of the raw data before applying privacy protection for innocent US citizens caught up in the intercepts. This has been interpreted by many as a political plot to disseminate personal information that could be construed by a hostile press as embarrassing or harmful to the incoming new administration. It also suggests that Obama was well aware of on going surveillance and wanted to insure that the information would be widely disseminated---and have a high potential to be leaked.. It was a particularly sinister way of tripping up the Trump Administration (and compromising the will of the people as expressed by the recent election).

The mainstream media and the Democrats like to persist in attorney-like parsing of the sometimes (and admittedly) imprecise words the new President uses. They prefer to analyze only the strictly literal meaning of his pronouncements. They intentionally ignore the obvious actual meaning of his communications. That permits them to falsely claim that President Trump "lies".

Perhaps the phrase "wire tapping" has a specific meaning for a few "geeks" or tech specialists in Washington DC, but to the average American it means "snooping", uninvited "prying into a private conversation" with ill intentions to use the words against the party targeted by the intrusion into their personal affairs. To most of us wiretapping might mean any of many sorts of intrusions into our personal communications. Perhaps no actual "wires" were "tapped" at Trump Tower...but that does not mean that no snooping or spying took place.

President Obama's official spokesperson has put out a very precisely worded statement indicating that no White House official ever "ordered" surveillance on any US citizen. Oh well...I guess that means, given this lawyerly response, that the former President could have "suggested" it, or "implied a need for it" or "requested" it, or "gave it a wink and nod". etc., etc.., etc..

Unlike Trump...Obama does not, or can not, use plain colloquial English. Why didn't he simply say: "I DIDN'T DO IT!"?

Perhaps he could not!

ELIJAH CUMMINGS COMES AROUND

ONE NICE THING THAT HAPPENED IN DC YESTERDAY

It was heartwarming to learn that yesterday (Wednesday March 8, 2017) Congressman Elijah Cummings (D Md) and Peter Welch (D VT) met with President Trump at the White House to confer on issues of drug pricing. Congressman Cummings brought with him a new bill entitled "The Medical Drug Price Negotiating Act of 2017" on which the congressman sought feedback and support for this bill.

Both Cummings and President Trump have been critics of high drug prices (and of each other). However, they both, rightly, want to serve the nation. Trump claimed during the campaign that " drug makers were "getting away with murder" and expressed an interest in using his negotiation and deal making skills to lower prices. While Cummings has been a long time critic of the pharma industry. The Democrat congressman from Baltimore, head of the Black Caucus and ranking Democrat on the Ways and Means Committee has in the past supported a bill that would allow for drugs to be imported from Canada where prices are much lower. He also criticized the profits and high prices of American drugs. The hour-long meeting at the White House had been scheduled for weeks (according to the Baltimore Sun ) but according to the President Cummings had put it off "for political reasons". But both men overcame party politics, petty grievances, and on Mr Cummings side, the stiff pressure from his colleagues to shun Mr. Trump. The meeting finally came to pass and to good purpose. For both men have set a precedent to be emulated and that something may actually get done to control the cost of drugs for the elderly and needy.

Cummings was questioned on Morning Joe about his feelings about encountering Trump, said he was unsure of what would happen, but he cleared the air, telling the President that his comments about crime in urban areas "was hurtful" to blacks". He seemed positive about the meeting responding to queries on that subject by claiming that "the meeting went well". He was surprised at how much the President knew about the drug pricing problem and that he was genuinely interested in cooperation. After the meeting the President tweeted the same saying he had a "good meeting" with Cummings.

Both men put aside their personal axes to bring and began working for the good of the nation...something the rest of Washington should begin to emulate.

For the rest of us this was a pleasant --a sanguine development-- for for those of us who supported Mr. Trump as a candidate and saw in him the potential for just such interactions.

CIA--WIKILEAKS--FALSE FLAG HACKING--RUSSIA?

WIKILEAKS DUMP EXPOSES EXCESSES OF CIA SPYING AND PRACTICE OF "FALSE FLAG" RUSSIAN "FINGERPRINTS"

CIA: SOURCE OF WORRISOME "RUSSIA HACKING"?

RUSSIA PARANOIA MAY BE MISPLACED

TRUMP BASHING ON RUSSIA SHOULD END
Yesterday (March 7, 2017) the NY Times reported on the trove of CIA documents released by Wikileaks.(See:"Wikileaks Releases Trove of Alleged CIA Hacking Documents" by Shane, Rosenberg and Lehrer.) The Times states that the nearly 8,000 pages of this "first tranch" of leaked CIA documents may be the largest in history. These thousands of pages describe in detail the sophisticated electronic tools and techniques the CIA has at its disposal to gather information from any individual's smart phone, computer, or even an internet-connected television set. We should be very proud and confident that we are protected by a sophisticated and highly trained security apparatus. The concern is only that it may be turned inward by some rouge actors. That would be very much our concern.

The document dump exposes the amazing sophistication of the CIA's tool box for spying. Included in this tranch of releases are which detail instructions for compromising almost all of the security apps and antivirus programs commonly used to protect one's digital documents from the prying eyes of a bloated government. It describes CIA protocols and practices for crashing a targeted computer, or stealing passwords to access private accounts, The documents reveal that the CIA has managed to compromise both the Apple and Android smartphone's encryption systems by developing a system that collects audio and digital traffic prior to encryption.

One of the most striking revelations--but widely ignored by the MSM--was the startling expose' that the CIA hackers who used these protocols to enter target accounts routinely and systematically leave cryptic evidences or "fingerprints" (digital signatures) behind, termed "false flag" signatures which tend to incriminate other parties, directing inquiry away from the CIA (as one would expect) and purposly directing attention to Russian, Chinese or Iranian hackers. These procedures make perfect sense when attempting to spy on foreign agents who wish us harm. But some suggest the same protocols may have been used during the past election on foreign and domestic targets.

So putting two and two together...one must wonder if all of the past assurances from our own security organizations regarding Russian hacking may be suspect. These experts loudly proclaimed "IT WAS THE RUSSIANS" who hacked into Hillary Clinton's server, the DNC, and John Podesta's emails. But this new information suggest that may have been just so much smoke and mirrors to hide the actual culprits. It is apparent that anyone in the so called "security" or "intelligence" community --all of those experts who assured us that it was the "Russians" who did it would have known at the time of the ability of the CIA to hack almost any system and its established protocol and firm intention to leave "false flag" signatures behind. Of course these high level security experts would not be able to reveal these capabilities for fear of compromising on-going foreign (or domestic) information gathering operations .

The present epidemic of political hysteria claiming that the "Russians did it" played well into a political scenario favored by the main-stream media, the losing Clinton team and the Democrats. It gave them a rallying point and an excuse for fielding a terrible candidate, and a misguided campaign. But with this new information from Wikileaks it seems more likely that what was attributed to "Russian hackers" may have actually been the work of others.

If the Russians didn't do it...all the hoopla concerning Russian "hacking" and "impacts on our elections are just so much nonsense. If the CIA was responsible, the focus of any Congressional investigations must be revised. We must formulate another opinion regarding the political assassination of General Flynn, the harassment of Senator and (later) AG Jeff Sessions, and the Obama Administrations' bumbling into possible felonious behavior as it listened in on conversations between Trump associates in Trump Tower and Russian bankers. Indeed, perhaps we can finally end the constant barrage of stories trying to connect President Trump to some nefarious behavior with the Russians as so much wasted time, battery power and printers ink.

WHY THE USA CAN'T ACCEPT MORE REFUGEES--ILLEGALS!

It is axiomatic, the USA does not accept many refugees from abroad. Why?

We are flush with refugees....illegal ones that swarm over our southern border. We have 11 million refugees here already. We have done our part.

We can only effectively absorb so manny new immigrants from abroad and maintain our own identity. We are flooded and struggling with the burden of too many illegals as it is.

GINNING UP FALSE STORIES: LEFT WING MEDIA WAY OF LIFE---

MATHEWS GINS UP STORY THAT TRUMP BLAMES GENERALS FOR OWENS DEATH

GINNING A STORY--TAKING A FEW WORDS OUT OF CONTEX TO ATTRIBUTE SOME EVIL INTENTIONS.

March 2, 2017

Last night I watched Chris Mathews, on Hardball, (MSNBC) a once watchable news program. In this segment Mathews blatantly try to "gin up" a negative storyline concerning President Trump. The phoney story was one that claimed President Trump "blamed" his own generals for the loss of the life of Ryan Owens, the heroic Seal petty officer who was killed in the recent (Jan 28, 2017) Yemen raid which went awry with heavy loss of life in Yemen. The so-called "evidence" upon which this story was based were a few casual words mouthed by President Trump during a Fox News interview in which he offhandedly stated as an aside that "They lost him" (in regard to Mr.Ryan Owens) . President Trump does not speak "legaleeze". He does not parse each word like a Harvard trained attorney--or like Hillary Clinton. But listening to the speech, it was plain that the President was not "blaming" his generals. It was not "news" or newsworthy to try to attach another meaning to his words. Chris Mathew's motives are impossible to plumb---but the effects of his efforts in this case was clear----simply a means of delegitimizing and degrading our own President.

Chris Mathews, formerly a fine journalist, has become something else in the past few months since the election of President Trump. Cherry picking a few words out of the President's recorded speech or an interview, while studiously ignoring the context and intention of the words, then attempting to weave some sinister significance to what the "victim" has said has become the literal "modus vivendi" the way of life of the left-leaning press. It is too bad. It does not go unnoticed or unremarked by the majority of American observers and viewership. It undermines any faith one has in even a remote sense that the story is true or deserves credence. It leads only to the further crumbling of respect for these former journalists and the media outlets they represent.

Isn't it time to end the propaganda war? Throwing raw meat to the partisans who tune in to MSNBC may marginally raise the channel's viewer share over the short term, but such behavior is not journalism, is not part of the democratic ideal to "inform" the electorate for its purpose is to misinform , and is does nothing to make our nation a better place...for all Americans.
