 HIS RECENT STAEMENTS INDICATE HIS DESPERATION

I was appalled to hear Governor Andrew Cuomo call the ICE (immigration and customs enforcement service) “ a bunch of thugs” in last nights’s primary debate at Hofstra University with Cynthia Nixon a “progressive” Democrat.  Cuomo, apparently well aware of the political power of the millions of illegal immigrants in the State who actually vote illegally— was ready to throw the men and women of ICE under the bus to gain a few illegal votes in the barrios in lower New York City and the Burroughs .  He just lost a lot of folks out on Long Island where both Hispanic and Afro-American voters see ICE as saviors and supporters of community safety and secutiry.  ICE has helped to round up and arrest mostly illegal immigrants of the fearful and violent MS13 gangs in western Long Island.  These illegals mostly from Equadore and Honduras prey on the local Hispanic community and are a violent threat— to the Hispanic and other communities on the Island.

Cuomo’s “bunch of toughs” statement exposes a long suspected truth—that the Democrat Party is now the party which supports open borders and illegal immigrants because these folks can vote!  They vote illegally of course.  But who is there to question their citizenry in the corrupt districts where only the Democrat party holds sway.  It appears the  Democrats who long ago abandoned the working class and middle class voters, realize that they can not win without them.

The Dems were buoyed in the last election when Mrs. Clinton—a poor candidate with too much baggage—actually pushed up the popular vote by about 3 million votes over her GOP competitor. .  The political analysts are well aware that these three million votes were probably mostly attributable  to illegal immigrants who were permitted to vote in the sanctuary cities where Democrats hold sway.  Legitimate citizens both native and legal immigrants should be angry at the dilution of their valid votes by illegal interlopers who have no right to the ballot box..

Cuomo should be taken to task for his thoughtless comments which could only encourage crime, and encourage violent attacks on ICE agents as they go about their legitimate and necessary duties.  

OHR’S COLLUSION AND CONSPIRACY IGNORED BY MUELLER

WHILE MUELLER CATTLE-PRODS  GOP POLS TO BELCH UP DECADES OLD EVIDENCE OF WHITE COLLAR CRIMES, HE IGNORES THE BLARING CRIMINAL  CONSPIRACY TO TILT THE OUTCOME OF THE 2016  ELECTION BY ELEMENTS IN OUR OWN GOVERNMENT STARING HIM IN THE FACE IN THE HALLS OF THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT NEXT TO HIS DC OFFICE. 

Today Mr. Bruce Ohr,  the recently demoted and now former Associate Deputy Attorney General and former Director of the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force  has had his day in front of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee where he (with his four attorneys) was grilled behind close doors for seven hours.  Brief reports and comments from attendees indicate Mr. Ohr —a key element in that conspiracy—had difficulty remembering much beyond his recent humiliating demotions.  

Ohr was grilled because it appears that he is one of the members of the Justice Department secret cabal of conspirators (Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Nellie Ohr, Sally Yates, and Andrew McCabe—and others) who conspired to undermine the candidacy of Donald Trump prior to the election and then after the election—-after the People had voted—— to continue to undermine ( a form of treachery that some would class as treason)  the legitimately elected  President—Mr. Trump.  

The crux of the matter is related to the now infamous “Steele Dossier” (a salacious unverified opposition research document falsely touted as “intelligence”).  Evidence in the form of handwritten and electronic correspondence makes clear that Ohr  and his wife Nellie appear to be the conduit of this anti-Trump sleeze into the halls of Justice Department and to the FBI where it was misrepresented as evidence when it was presented  to the FISA court judges to initiate an illegal scheme to spy on the Trump campaign.  This is one of the most egregious acts in any democracy—government spying on a private citizen.  In this case the FISA court misled by the government appellants used the Steele document to tap the phones— of Carter Page, a minor functionary in the Trump campaign..  But often ignored by media is that their actual design was not their interest in Mr. Page—who had been investigated in depth by the FBI earlier.  The more sinister design was that by tapping into Page’s electronic and voice messages they could “spy” on all the others he communicated within the Trump campaign—the GOP candidate and all of his associates.  Carter Page was not of interest to the domestic spy team—they were after voice messages of Trump and others in his team.  The President did claim early in the transition period—that “they” were tapping his phones in Trump Tower—-he was ridiculed for the charge—but as in many other things he was right—they did!  

The story is a bit complex.  The characters in this shocking conspiracy were: left-leaning Justice Department individuals (Strzok, Page et al listed above ), a British national who once had been an MI6 spy (Christopher Steele) , paid Russian informants, and an American political “research” company (Fusion GPS) and its key employee Nellie Ohr (wife of Bruce Ohr —the ) as well as tens of millions of dollars of political money. . 

Ohr’s wife, Nellie a purported Russian “expert”  was hired as a private contractor retained by the opposition research firm known as “Fusion GPS”.  Fusion GPS, (headed by Glenn Simpson), was the opposition research agency  hired by the Clinton campaign during the last election to provide “opposition” (any dirty stories) to be used in political ads against Mr. Trump in the 2016 election.  In order to attain this goal Fusion hired a former British spy, foreign agent Christopher Steele.  Steele was a  defrocked M16 spy, who at this time operated his own “opposition research” firm in London.  The fact is that Steele was an entrepreneur selling information (true or false) to willing and desperate political  clients—like Clinton  who were awash in money.  Steele long ago exposed in Russia as a British agent and thus was unable to enter Russia to validate any evidence he acquired—(but keep in mind his actual objective was not valid “MI6 intelligence” –his goal was only gossip that would have only to pass the “stink test” so it could be sold to eager clients ). All of Steele’s information was paid for and was most was  second and third hand gossip—as well as  fantasy stories dreamt up by inventive and desperate Russians willing to say anything for a buck (or a British Pound).  

Steele—a foreigner— was reported to have a powerful anti-Trump bias—for some unknown reason—but his prime motivation was cash.  He made millions of dollars flogging his twenty six page fantasy/gossip document.  The money came from the Clinton campaign and perhaps the Clinton Global Initiative.   

Though Steele was known to the FBI, he had no way to legitimately pass on his unverified political document to the Justice Department and to the FBI.   It was Ohr and his wife Nellie who provided that egregious service for a no doubt for a fee to Steele.  Once, the Ohrs placed the Steele document (supported by the Clinton camp money) into the hands of Peter Strzok et.al.  it was used by that elite and rabidly anti-Trump , (anti-democratic -small d) and apparently not too smart top-brass of the FBI and Justice Department as the poison fruit of a poison tree to gin up a wholly illegal investigation into a political opponent’s camp and then later after the election—as a treasonous means to unseat a legitimately elected President.  

What is most distressing is the fact that all this conspiracy and collusion sits right in front of Mueller in the Justice Department, while Mr. Mueller ignores the facts and buries his nose in the backsides of former Trump associates and their tax and other foibles that occurred years before the 2016 election.  The actions of Mueller’s team  is so distressing because it simply  underscores the depth and breadth of corruption and bias in Washington DC.  President Trump, perhaps ironically, seems to be the only honest man in town. 

This FBI/Russian “collusion” scandal and its ramifications is a monstrous wound to our body politic—that dwarfs the Whitewater and Watergate scandals of the past. Yet sadly our media, infected as with a strain of Ebola-like—Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) have ignored the facts.  These organizations need a thorough clean-out to regain the respect of the people. 

An equally egregious and perhaps even more dangerous scandal over the long term is that of the complicity and utter bias  of American journalism-whic ignore facts, manufacture stories, mis-quote, place emphasis where it does no belong all to  promote their own particular anti-Trump story-line and bias.    (The few exceptions: Glenn Greenwald and others like him) The vast majority of the fourth estate has abandoned its post as the guardian of the truth.  They are blinded by hate.  How will they ever recover their reputations as guardians of the truth?   Who will believe them?  How will they ever be trusted again? 

TORTURE= SQUEEZING TRUMP ASSOCIATES FOR INFO?

“Torture is any act by which severe pain, suffering ...whether physical or mental is intentionally inflicted on a person for the purpose of obtaining ...information..or a confession.....”.UN Convention Against Torture,  December 1984

The Christian Church eventually outlawed torture used during the Inquisition when it eventually became clear to Church leaders that the practice—was inhumane—and also failed to reveal or punish the guilty.  Many innocent men and women were tied to the stake and put to the torch in those days.   In England—at least up until 1640....a man (or woman) placed on the rack in Elizabethan times  was likely to “confess” to every crime his/her interlocutors charged him( her) with.  For an eager prosecutors torture worked like a charm—they always got their man!.  But even in Merry Old England it soon became  obvious that torture failed because it did not advance its stated purposes —-the pursuit of the guilty and the truth.  It was obvious  that the victims of torture could only focus on the excruciating pain they were experiencing.  And to end the agony  they would agree to anything...admitting guilt of the most bizarre alleged crimes against them—even if it meant long prison sentences or beheading.  Physical torture was finally banned world-wide in 1948 with the signing of  the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (signed by the USA) and most modern western nations.  The convention was amended in 1984 to include physical and mental torture to obtain information or a confession (as noted above).  Is not this just what Mr. Mueller is doing?       

Sadly we are seeing a revision of those evil practices in modern day Washington, DC with the madness of the “Russian craze”, the Mueller investigations and the Cohen and Manafort trials and their results.   Special Prosecutor Mueller does not employ electric shock or waterboarding to loosen the tongues of his victims. His methods are more subtle perhaps,  but just as painful.   Mueller uses threats of long prison terms, yard-long lists of charges and indictments, pre-trial arrest with no bail, intrusive and violent night raids to family homes, charging spouses and family members with exaggerated crimes, and of course, the pain of economic the massive costs and impact resulting from  exorbitant  legal defense fees.  

Mueller has been superficially successful—he has a few notches on his metal studded belt—General Flynn, Papandopoulous, and now Cohen and Manafort.  These men were victims of Mueller’s  torture  and —unable to stand the pain or the financial burden —they were forced to give to the prosecutor what he wanted.  The goal: statements (true or false) which may be used as ammunition to to take down a duly elected President.    But what Mueller statements given under duress are not  necessarily the truth.  Let’s be clear—these are admissions and statements  given under great pressure.  

They will not stand up to public scrutiny as true.  They are the fruit of the forbidden tree—forever doubted as factual.

There are 63 million people who voted for Trump because he was not part of the elite, corrupt Washington DC establishment.  His style and weaknesses were well assessed before the election.   These vast numbers of voters, spread far and wide across the heartland of our nation, voted against: interminable costly wars, loss of their well-paying jobs to overseas competitors, unfair trade practices, bloated budgets, huge recurrent deficits, vast bureaucracy, incompetence,  do nothing Democrats and Republicans, and the purposeful abandonment of the people of the heartland to poverty and dying communities.  

These voters will not sit idly by if the “Resisters”, the establishment, the Deep State and the Media try to undo a legitmate election and unseat their President. And this all based on  phony trumped up charges, derived from legal practices that unbiased observers may call “torture”.     

It will not be pretty.  It will tear the nation apart.  Mueller wise up.  End up this waste of time and money.  Be a true patriot.   

    

BRENNAN LOSES SECURITY CLEARANCE—GOOD

ELEMENTS OF THE DEEP STATE (BRENNAN AND MCRAVEN) RISE OUT OF SWAMP MUD TO ATTACK TRUMP —-THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE.

THEY DON’T GET IT.  ITS ONLY THE PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR COLLECTIVE VOTE THAT GET TO DECIDE WHO LEADS THE NATION.

THE FORMER HEAD OF THE CIA, OUT OF WORK  ADMIRALS AND FORMER HEADS OF STATE HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO LEAD—-AND NO RIGHT TO SECURITY CLEARENCES—-THEY ALL HAVE ONLY ONE VOTE EACH—THEY SHOULD USE THEM IN THE NEXT ELECTION.

Former (and now disgraced) chief spook and  CIA Director John Brennan has revealed how right we all were in questioning his suitability for that position when President  Obama nominated him.  One must question Obama’s decision process and ask —in light of his recent statements —how he ever rose to such a position of power.  He has lied to Congress, his sinister actions before the election indicate he attempted to use his powerful position in the CIA to sway the election toward Clinto and after the election, his scheming and subterfuge to undermine the formally and legitamately  elected President is an act which can be acurately described as “treasonous”.

He has no “right” to a security clearance and the President was correct in stripping him of it.


As for grandstanding former and retired Admiral William McRaven—who impolitically stepped into the muddy ring of politics—-by publishing an open  letter to the President in which he slams President Trump and offers to have his own security clearance stripped as well—the President should accommodate him too.  

After 37 years of commendable service to his nation—-rising to head of Special Opps Command and vice-admiral— and only the last few years as an academic (University of Texas), McRaven has apparently has been polluted with the current disease of liberal politicization.   In this case—his letter—he wasted his past military record in an attempt to support an old and undeserving colleague—the unsupportable Mr. Brennan.  In my view he has squandered a great deal of his credibility joining Brennan.

CHRIS CUOMO DEFENDS ANTIFA—INCITES VIOLENCE, AFFLICTED WITH TDS

CHRIS CUOMO AFFLICTED WITH TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME DEFENDS VIOLENT ANTIFA THUGS.

Trump Derangement Syndrome ( best defined by Fareed Zakaria as “hatred of President Trump (and his policies) so severe as to impair judgement”) has been detected in the recent fulminations of that formerly pleasant and mostly sensible CNN TV journalist and announcer: Chris Cuomo, host of  “Cuomo Prime Time”   Cuomo, the son of former governor of NY State (Mario Cuomo) and a graduate of Yale and Fordham Law has apparently fallen victim to a vicious case of TDS.  There is no other reasonable diagnosis. In his recent—and well criticized— CPT monologue, Cuomo tried to justify the violence perpetrated by the Antifa demonstrators.  According to Cuome, these violent thugs  “had the upper hand morally” so their violent actions and speech at the demonstrations were to be viewed as “morally acceptable”.

Cuomo’s monologue came on the anniversary of the Charlottesville riot last year which saw protests in Washington DC where masked Antifa Group members were filmed throwing eggs and water bottles, firing off Roman candles at police, the media and other demonstrators, and beating people in the street.  They were acting like the “brown shirt” thugs (they claim to oppose) of another time and place.  They were recorded verbally threatening to kill the President.  I guess that makes it OK (for Como) and gives the Antifa thugs the “moral high ground” because they were theoretically “opposing bigotry”.  But from this author ...it sounds a lot like Cuomo encouragement and incitement of violence.

Cuomo and his colleagues on the left were eager to hammer President Trump who last year after the rally was fiercely criticized for failing to condemn the violence unconditionally.  The President  stated correctly at the time that both protesters at the August 2017 Chalotttesvillle rally were to blame for the violence and the tragic fatality that resulted from it.  The President did not take sides...he was right in condemning violence on both sides.

However, for those with their logical process impaired by Trump Derangement Syndrome, and those who seem to have given up on our democratic processes—or who have sadly come to  believe thtat if your party can not win elections at the ballot box the only recourse of its supporters and facilitators in the media is to encourage violence!

That is a most-perilous course of action.

Those with more circumspection and better  historical perspective than  Chris Como,  should be carefully assessing that long step-off the cliff into the abyss of conflict and chaos.

COLLUSION? YES! UK’S CHRIS STEELE WITH JUSTICE DEPARTMENT

BRITISH SUBJECT COLLUDES WITH JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, FUSION GPS AND THE FBI TO IMPACT US 2016 ELECTION AND UNSEAT A PRESIDENT?   

Τhe Democrats (and the media) have made a persistent mantra out of fear of “foreign  influences on the 2016 election”.   The establishment (the “deep state”) the media, Hollywood and Academia remain (even after 18 months) hyperbolically  aroused against alleged Russian “foreign conspiracy and collusion”.    They keep the accusations alive in hopes of  pinning this charge and perhaps “high crimes and misdemeanors”on Mr. Trump.  But after more than two years of intense investigation by every conceivable organization in and out of government, there is no evidence to support that contention.  Even Mr Mueller has abandoned the idea. He is now apparently lofting trial balloons with “obstruction of justice” scrawled across their bloated surfaces.  He has nothing else.  Too bad!  

The left’s incessant chant  that “foreign individuals” had the technical capacity and the effrontery to alter our elections troubles us very deeply—and rightly so.  Except they ignore the beached whale of evidence on the strand and search instead for motes among the sand grains.  

But there is collusion and conspiracy and perhaps even treason here.  Reams of documents, public statements, US Congress investigations and other evidences are available for all to read.  They clearly reveal foreign collusion and conspiracy by a BRITISH national, conspiring with a Justice Department official who at a key time during the election cycle with probable intent to alter the outcome of the election moved unverified documentation into the highest levels of our government’s judicial branch where it was used by others in an attempt to affect our election and its aftermath. 

The left prefers to ignore the huge elephant in the room—that a British subject—a foreign agent —the long-ago defrocked and outed former MI6 spy— Mr. Christopher Steele—who last entered Russia 20 years ago—was intimately and actively involved in collusion and conspiracy to undermine the Trump candidacy and after the election worked to undermine a legitimately elected President. 

The left and their supporters blithely ignore the fact that Steele, a self-promoting information-flogging-entrepreneur, openly  colluded with elements of the Justice Department and a private corporation to affect our election.  That corporation was  the Clinton-hired  political opposition-research agency known as Fusion GPS. Steele who was employed by Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump passed on his salacious unverified allegations to a member of the Fusion staff who happened to be married to a high Justice Department official.  This well connected DC married couple acted as a “Julius and Ethel”-like conduit to move the unverified opposition-research allegations into the highest ranks of the Justice Department where they were greeted with glee and treated as if they were “intelligence” by a highly partisans  staff eager to believe any  anti-Trump materials. These individuals conspired to pass on the contents of the phony dossier to anti-Trump elements in the FBI and the media. The FBI in turn compromised its own reputation when it misrepresented the “Steele document” as actual “evidence” when it made its presentation to a FISA court judge to initiate a highly questionable campaign of domestic spying on Carter Page and through him, to listen in on telephones in the Trump campaign organization. 

No one wants to address  this massive case of actual foreign “conspiracy and collusion” which lies  in the open for all the see like a scrolling screen saver.  No one seems to care that Mr. Steele—a foreigner—was actively involved with and conspired with Fusion GPS and Justice Department officials in attempts to undermine  candidate Trump. After the election when Trump was formally elected, Steele continued to advocate and scheme against the American people’s choice, OUR elected President.  Steele, who is self-confessed as “passionately against Trump as a President”  continued to try to sell his salacious and unverified allegations as “intelligence” after the election in an attempt to undermine OUR  President’s legitimacy and an to unseat him.  The “Julius and Ethel” team in Justice Department and Washington helped continued to act as a conduit for damaging but unverified information from Steel into the Justice Department, adding Steel in accomplishing his goal of unseating an elected official he did not approve of.  What rights did he have?  The team that aided Steel should be concerned about being complicit in a plot to help a foreign agent overthrow our president. 

This is an existential political scandal more egregious than than Watergate. It stains our nation’s honor, it delegitimizes our critical intelligence and justice departments and threatens our future as a representative democracy.  

Why is no one concerned? .  

TRUMP: BULL IN CHINA SHOP ON TURKISH SANCTIONS

SANCTIONS SHOULD BE USED SPARINGLY..

OVER USE WILL SIMPLY WEAKEN THEIR POTENCY AND USEFULNESS

Right now Mr. Trump has imposed or increased sanctions on  world-girdling group of nations including North Korea, Venezuela, Iran, Russia, Turkey, and God knows where else.

The US threat of sactions can wear thin as the cadre of “sanctionees” grows so big as to be able to band band together to thumb their nose at the US and ignore the US President’s bluster.  That would be a worry and embarrassment too. .

Today, we learn that President Trump has slapped tough sanctions on Turkey one of our most important allies on the eastern margins of Europe.  The Turkish Lira has dropped in value relative to the dollar by as uch as 11%.  That will hurt Turkish citizenry and probably many of our own US enterprises which do business with Turkey.

What evil did Mr. Erdogan commit?  Mr. Recep Erdogan will not release the Evangelical pastor Andrew Brunson, imprisoned  in Trukey where he is accused of aiding the terrorist group that attempted a coup d’etat against Erdogan in 2016.  We do not know what the facts are...and whether or not Brunson is guilty or not.  But just because he is  a US citizen does not mean he is without question “innocent”.  We should have the facts first.  As for President Trump, who is willing to sit down and talk with our-long time (if unwarranted) enemies—the Iranian mullahs—- without preconditions—-perhaps with Mr. Erdogan (a long time ally) more “jaw jaw” and less “sancttions sanctions” would be a better option than the blunt force used by Trump in this case.

Trump is making it clear—-he dearly wants to hold on to his evangelical base in the coming elections..but bringing  down the entire Turkish economy of one of our most important allies is not the way to go.

There is just so much bluster and bullying  to the national honor and self-respect a proud nation (and its leaders) could tolerate.  To force the Turks and Erdogan to kneel at the feet  of the “US emperor” will not improve our relationships or garner peace and prosperity. It could only lead to more conflict.

The more preferable US posture would be to keep the massive,  raw US economic and military power encased in its traditional velvet glove rather than exposing the hard brass knuckles therein.

No one in the USA wants to see Erdogan fall or the Trukish economy collapse.  There must be a better way.
