In these days the merchandized media and the “word police” attempt to politicize science for their own base ends. Yet they glibly tout science of “emerging viral variants” and “evolution of new strains”, but try to ignore and submerge the established science of Charles Darwin, and the importance of breeding and bloodlines—as if they were bad words.
Some of us are even ashamed to admit that we own a dog of a recognized breed, mendaciously responding to public inquiry with:
“Oh he’s just a “rescue dog”
But then—with the passing of a man of known “breeding and bloodlines” and all those elements that the “woke” geneeration despises— we are faced with the jarring facts about what we have lost and what we have become
This revelation comes in the form of the sad passing of a 99 year-old man, a war hero, a loving father and constant husband of seven decades, a quiet man, who shunned the spotlight, saw his duty to his country and to his family and doggedly stuck to them and to his his sense of what was right.
These strong men of honor, responsibility, self-sacrifice and duty are only anachronisms in the minds of present day “elites” and trend setters. . The contrast within just one family, between grandfather and grandson is so stark it gives us pause, and fear of where are we headed.
If this present generation were faced, as were those of Prince Philip’s day, with the existential threat of global war, economic desolation, human tragedy and the horrors of those times, could this new ‘woke’ generation have survived? These youngsters prosper as they mindlessly tinker with revisions of history and culture, but do so on sacrifices of all those strong men of honor of the past.
