MUELLER REPUTATION IN TATTERS—FRAIL NOT IN CHARGE OF INVESTIGATION

Special Investigator Robert Mueller once had a reputation as a straight shooter, tough guy, a former hero Marine of few words, an honest —unbiased— broker, as well as a sharp operator.  Well that was then, today he metaphorically was observed dribbling his oatmeal in front of the nation on national TV.

His either could not hear or could not fully grasp the barrage of sometimes complex questions directed to him.    His difficulty was most pronounces when his interlocutors read him text from his own report—then asked him to respond.  He was  “hoisted  on his own petard”  since his 440 plus page text was written in such a purposely obfuscating manner (rife with  double negatives, obscure, nebulous and murky language and innuendo) so as to be useful to smear reputations,  but bring no formal charges,  The so called “Mueller” team could bring no charges, because as the now infamous Trump hater and former member of that investigatory team, FBI agent Peter Strzok once  texted : “there was no there there”.

Now we know why Mueller kept a strict rule for taciturnity—often touted by the press as and example of his investigatory prudence .  But we now know that as long as Mueller was not heard from we could all keep thinking of him as he was— three or four decades ago.  However, his “disastrous” performance in the hearings as well as his flakey and tentative answers to questions and and his lack of familiarity with his own report now indicates he was appointed as a figurehead investigator.

He was apparently picked to head the team because he was known as a Republican with a “sterling” reputation for honesty.  However his performance yesterday (July 24, 2019) reveal that he was in no way capable of such a role and the real power was apparently held by his much more radical underlings —like Peter Strzok and Lisa Page (former members) who were eventually secretly fired from the team for their overt and self incriminating emails and bias against the President whom they were investigating.  The Mueller team members who remained were all card carrying Democrats most of whom had either supported  Ms Clinton with donations or worked for the Clinton Global Initiative (aka as the Clinton family reelection slush fund).

As long as “straight arrow” Mueller was perceived to be in charge of this team—the public perceptions of the investigation could be at least minimally defended for its integrity and honesty.   But after Mr. Mueller’s display of frailty and lack of awareness of his own  report—yesterday—it is now clear that he had little oversight and little or no control of its contents.  One must conclude that appearances now suggest that Mueller must have was  emplaced as “special investigator” to draw off criticism of what was in fact a  cabal of Trump-haters intent on framing the President and setting up conditions for his impeachment.

Was the investigation a witch hunt—Mueller said “no” but it sure looks like one to an unbiased observer.

On another matter —Mueller claims he COULD NOT EXONERATE the President and the Democrats and the biased press ran with this idea with glee. “He was not able to “exonerate” the President from criminal wrong doing”.  The fact is that Mr. Mueller can not exonerate anyone—not even Jesus Christ—were he to be investigated, since there is no such “critter” in our judicial system.  Everyone even the President starts out as “innocent” i.e. exonerated already.   Mueller in his frailty just invented a new category completely alien to our system.  Where has Mr. Mueller been in the last decades to come up with such an idea?

A prosecutor has enormous power of investigation and with these powers he must decide if he or she has evidence to bring a charge against the individual who is the focus of the investigation.  If there is no evidence or not enough evidence to bring a charge—the investigator drops the investigation.   The person who is not charged thus remains in his or her original state as “presumed innocent”.  That is why all the unused evidence dug up against this now uncharted (innocent) person should not be aired in public.

What a waste of time and effort.
